Beautiful baby alert!

Little Aliya was a so sweet and so tiny at her newborn shoot... I couldn't get enough of her! 

Her mama, Kailyn, and I are old friends... we met all the way back in the fourth grade! 

It was so fun to do these photos ... these two are clearly enamored by their beautiful new daughter.

So this couple is so cute and so sweet... I am in love with the authentic emotion in their photos!
Heather is my "cousin-in-law" and she and Mitch are due to welcome their baby girl at the end of the month.
They are going to be fantastic parents... I couldn't be happier for them!!

Spring Mini-Sessions, Part 1 / Des Moines Family Photographer

My spring mini-sessions were so fun! It was an unbelievably beautiful morning ... can you believe this amazing May weather we are having??

Two of the families I photographed are our neighbors and friends and the third is a family I have gotten to know through Kennedy's preschool. Looking forward to doing another morning of mini-sessions in a couple of weeks!
