I finished my 2013 shooting season with this wonderful family!

Carrie (my friend and former teaching colleague) contacted me a few months ago about having a photo session done for her parents as their Christmas gift. I was so excited as it is always fun to photograph adult children with their parents and I was also excited to photograph little Abby, the first and only granddaughter (until March, that is, when Carrie has her second baby!).

We had a great time and lucked out with beautiful weather at the very end of December.

I am taking the month of January off from shooting professionally to not only catch up on the nuts and bolts of Junebug Photography (i.e. book keeping, archiving, etc) but also to catch up on my personal photos. My little one officially crossed the age 2 1/2 mark at the end of December ... what a fun age this is. Her language is increasing exponentially and she constantly makes us laugh. Big sis turns five next month so stay tuned for some updated photos of her as well. Enjoy!

During the week of Christmas, I had the chance to photograph this special family.

Meet baby Jack who is the son of one of my oldest and dearest friends, Margaret, and her husband Danny who is a great friend from college. They are just the cutest little family ... loved photographing this new phase in their lives. And baby Jack is just beautiful! Congrats!!
